Rustic Sunday started with a simple idea: creating picture ledges for my own home.

I wanted something that felt warm, natural and personal-a piece that could hold the things we love and help a space feel more like home. What started out as a small woodworking project quickly grew into something I wanted to share with others.

From there, Rustic Sunday slowly evolved.

I began creating different handmade pieces, experimenting with styles and eventually opened my own Etsy shop. Each step brought new ideas, new projects and a better understanding of what I loved creating most.

Over time, Rustic Sunday became more than just the products I made. It became a place to share the process behind creating a home-the decisions, the changes, the products and the little details that make a space feel personal. It’s something I’ve been doing since I was a little girl.

I believe the best homes aren’t created all at once. They are built slowly, through thoughtful choices and pieces that tell your story.
